In March, when the grass grows and the warblers fly, the coldness of winter has not yet faded away, spring comes to us with green breath. The spring breeze blows the buds on the branches, the grass on the ground, and also the enthusiasm of Taiho people.
In this beautiful time of spring and vitality, we ushered in the annual tree planting festival. In order to respond to the national call for tree planting and greening, and to let the staff understand the importance of protecting the ecology, Taiho Optoelectronics carried out a tree planting activity with the theme of "Dating Green - Dress up Taiho" on March 11th - March 12th in the park. The activity was well received by the staffs from all departments and they were highly enthusiastic to participate in the tree planting activity.
At 12:30 p.m., the staff representatives participating in this tree-planting day activity gathered at the south gate of the park. The company leaders attached great importance to this activity. Mr. Wang Cheng Ying, Chairman of the Supervisory Committee and Assistant to Chairman of the Board of Directors, made a mobilizing speech, calling on everyone to sow hope in spring and usher in a bountiful harvest in autumn, and wishing Taiho even more success in 2019. During the activity, Mr. Shi Jiangtao, Deputy General Manager, Mr. Tang Lin, Deputy General Manager, Comrade Zhou Qiding, Deputy Secretary of Party Branch, and Comrade Bu Cheng, Chairman of Labor Union, and other leaders were all present at the front line, planting trees and laboring with the staff. Everyone in groups of three, some help seedlings, some cultivate soil, some carry buckets to water, very tacit understanding. During the whole labor process, we not only dedicate ourselves to planting trees but also enjoy the fun of labor itself.
A total of nearly 200 employees from 13 departments participated in this tree-planting day activity. With high passion and consistent unity and cooperation, we soon completed the expected task, and the open land was planted with osmanthus saplings. Colleagues from the Marketing Center planted the first tree in only 15 minutes, the Finance Center followed the pace, and the brothers and sisters from the Warehousing Department bagged the second and third places.
Through this tree-planting activity, not only beautify the environment but also enhance the communication between the staff, more reflecting the strength of the team, only to think and work together, in order to achieve faster and better results.
