Bangladesh is one of the underdeveloped countries in the world, with a weak economic base, an underdeveloped manufacturing sector, an industry dominated by the production of raw materials and primary products, and a national economy that relies mainly on agriculture, with industry employing only 8 per cent of the country's workforce.

BASHUNDARA Group is a large-scale enterprise in Bangladesh, and its Bashundhara Food And Beverage Industry Ltd (Bashundhara Food And Beverage Industry) has a flour mill that has been providing the majority of the country's flour supply for many years, and plays a pivotal role in safeguarding people's livelihoods. Difficulty in recruiting suitably skilled workers has long plagued the business, and the mill was in dire need of automated production equipment to reduce its reliance on labor.

At the beginning of 2020, Bashundhara Company cooperated with Zengran Packaging under Taihe Intelligence, and began to design the relevant program. In July, the project was launched. At the beginning, Bashundhara Company didn't understand the advanced degree of the flour packaging automation system, and couldn't put forward the effective demand.Through many communications, one month later, the information of Bashundhara Company's demand was Through repeated communication, one month later, the demand information of Bashundhara Company was gradually clarified. With the deeper understanding of both sides, the automation equipment of Zengran Packaging gave birth to more ideas from the customer. However, the area of the plant limits the placement of the equipment, and Bashundhara does not agree to reduce any of the workstations that can replace manual labor, which in turn creates difficulties in the design of the subsequent program.

On September 22, Zhang Kun, a pre-sales engineer of Zengran, was appointed as the chief designer of the project. the flour automatic packaging project of Bashundhara Company covers the primary and secondary packaging of flour, which needs to realize the fully automatic intelligent assembly line. In order to meet the customer's demand, Zhang Kun team braved the summer heat to go deep into the site, worked overtime almost every day, drew, modeled, and produced 3D, and after nearly a month's hard work, presented a complete design scheme to the customer, and gained the recognition of Bashundhara Company.

In October, with the advancement of the project, Bashundhara's requirements were adjusted, which brought great challenges to Zhang Kun's team. With the landing of the technical requirements in December, from the beginning of 2021, Zhang Kun's team spent two whole months combing and verifying, down to the size of each and every process to be a little bit in the careful consideration. Not only for Zhang Kun's team, but also for the Zengran Packaging, which has just been established for more than a year, the complexity of this project and the challenges it faces are unprecedented. However, in the face of difficulties, the people of Zengran carried forward the spirit of "the more difficult, the more forward", in the case of manpower constraints, lack of experience, after five months of hard work, in June 2021, all the equipment to complete the production, debugging, and smooth delivery.

In August, the equipment arrived at Bashundhara's Dhaka plant. However, at that time, the epidemic situation was tense abroad and it was difficult to send staff in China. The customer could not suffer loss for any reason! COSCO decision makers decided to overcome all difficulties and install and commission the equipment on time. Jiang Leizi, the project implementation manager, took the initiative to volunteer, and the technical elites, Lai Junfeng and Wei Fanghui, responded positively and quickly formed a three-member team, which boarded the plane on October 7 and flew to Bangladesh after strict epidemic prevention measures.

After more than a month of intense construction, on November 15, 2021, Bashundhara flour automatic packaging production line in Bangladesh, all lines are running according to the design requirements, to the customer to hand over a satisfactory answer.
